ALRUD has participated in a large-scale study of projects regarding China

On April 21, 2025, Pravo.ru summarized the outcome of research of the China Legal Market.

The focus of the study is Russian law firms running projects for Chinese clients in Russia or projects for Russian clients in China.

Twenty-four law firms participated in the study.

The experts were tasked with analyzing the project, making an up-to-date map of participants by area of practice, and identifying the top players in the market.

The survey covered 11 legal practices, nine of which – Corporate Rights/M&A, Sanctions, Banking and Finance, Dispute Resolution, Intellectual Property, Relocation, Tax, Private Equity, and Foreign Economic Activity (FEA) – were announced when the collection of questionnaires from the participants began. Two practices – Real Estate and Construction and Labor and Migration Law – were added by the experts while analyzing the materials.

As an outcome of the survey, ALRUD was nominated in five practices.

Group 1:

• Corporate/M&A,
• Banking and Finance,
• Intellectual Property,
• Labor and Employment Law.

Group 2:

• International Trade.

The editorial team plans to continue analyzing the work done in Chinese and for Chinese clients, and update the survey every two years.
